A lot many games will be playable with that card. However, since we don't have your complete system specs, we cannot really say. Please post the specs and if possible, the titles of games in particular that you're looking at playing.

Almost all the games would run fine on a card like the 5770 and that too at maxed settings at modest resolutions ( you can't max out all the games though, but they would run fine ).
Also, what's you're CPU, RAM, HDD etc. They also play a role in how good the games would work on that system. :)

any game you choose at varying settings and rez. as long as your o.s supports the game you should have no issues at lest running games.
its a low-mid range card at best so dont expect miracles like maxing out crysis 2 with all the textures and dx11 add-ons. it may be a dx11 card but it doesnt have enough physical grunt to use it propperly. so play your games in dx10 or lower for highest fps.

you will be able to play any game, just dont expect to crank all the detail settings to max and have the game run smoothly.

I have been using a HIS 5770 card for the past year, on a 965 BE AMD processor and 4GB DDR3 RAM, and I can tell you that on this system, at 1920x1080 resolutions you can play most games that came out up to this moment, if you're prepared to make some sacrifices though. As others mentioned already, it will not work very well while using DX11 in games, especially Crysis 2 (which I actually ran at 1680x1050 with medium settings); also Far Cry 2 will work better at the same 1680x1050 resolution with high details, but using DX10 though.

So, if you're looking to maximize graphics, depending on your monitor's native resolution, and also depending on the titles you'll play, the card will work. Not the best graphics out there, but it's still a good card for the money.

The card isn't actually good for gaming at 1920*1080, but it does well with lowered detail.
I'd say the best you can game with this card is 1680*1050 or 1600*900.

At 1680x1050, most games run smoothly, at medium to high level of detail, I can testify that, except the ones that require DX11. You're better off still using DX10 settings with those.
