I've got an espcially sinister bit of adware on my computer - Ceres. It pops up ads on my desktop every 4 or 5 minutes, and I just can't seem to root out where it's coming from. I run Spybot S&D, but it can't stop this stuff, and I pore through my task manager and searched all the files on my hd, and can't stop it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Try posting your question in this forum ... a few of the moderators there seem to be pretty good (especially Donna) - they have some good tutorials they can point you to ...
