Asus A7A266 and A7V133

Hello Everyone,

I work for a wholesaler that sells Asus motherboards. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea about the known issues with these two boards. Here is what I know so far:

1. The A7A266 has issues with low end video cards. Anyone know whether this is ALL video cards or just ATI (that is what we know so far)

2. The A7V133 apparently has an issue with Creative sound cards (our tech had a problem installing the Creative SB Live Value using the autoinstall)

If anyone can elaborate on either of these issues, it would be greatly appreciated

As far as i know, no chipset likes creative cards

There are no real "issues" with the A7A266 and ATI, it's simply that the onboard audio CD-In connector gets in the way of the mounting bracket. Remove the bottom screw from the bracket, or bend the CD-In connector. Or better yet, get the A7A266 WITHOUT the onboard sound, the sound is not that great anyway, and most of us prefer soundcards.

I just bought ABIT KT7A-RAID mobo...asked the store replaced my ABIT KT7A-RAID to ASUS A7V133-RAID
because of the incombabilty (donno if got that one right)problems with my SB LIVE PLAYER 5.1... yesterday i got a brand new A7V133-raid Works like a charm! Even came with the newest bios version!!!

most problems were fixed or can be fixed with this intergrated driver be casuse i was having a problem with my geforec 2 ultra an poor performance cause iwas getting 1400 3dmark2001 after installed i got 3900
