nforce release date

has anyone heard when the new nforce chipset by nvidia will be available? I understand that there are 5 mobo makers currently getting ready to include them in their mobos. I am most interested in Asus, but if anyone has any info it would be apreciated.

nVidia is still being tight lipped about the release date. Rumor has it they are ramping chip production, though, with expectations being that MB's will begin to appear in September. However, that's not set in stone. nVidia just says it wil happen sometime this fall.

It blows that there is no release date. Im trying to hold off building a new system to see what these new mobos will look like.

Well there are now some pics out of 5 of the nForce MB's coming out, so they are in test at least, which hopefully means they will be coming out sooner rather than later
