Okay, so I just got the last of my new computer parts in the mail, and I'm already having problems with my system
What I got:
motherboard - a7a266
processor - amd 1.2
video - MSI Geforce2 GTS Pro (64MB DDR)
RAM - 256MB DDR
sound - sondblaster 512
OS - win98 se
Problem:
Alright, at first everything was just honkey-dorey, I loaded the OS, and then to check out my graphics card, quake 3. It was running great for a little while, but after 10 minutes or so, it just froze. Keyboard froze, mouse froze, and the sound just kept playing the last thing I heard before it happened over and over again. The only thing I could think to do was update the video drivers, so I did that, and it still didn't fix it. I figured that I would see if it happened when I was playing unreal, so I started to install it, and the comptuer froze durring installation. Could I need a BIOS update?
If anybody has any insight into what might be causing my problem I would be very appreciative. Thanks for your help.
