System restore

IF I turn of the monitoring in system restore to my D:\ partition will it not be messed with if I had to restore C:\. I used D for a temp back up before going to my external drive so I don't want anything messed with on that partition. Thanks Bruce

You should be fine because it's only pulling needed system files that it restores to their correct location.. I've done this before and haven't had any problems with it.
It's making copies of your system files that it needs.
