a problem of ibm t43

i have a ibm t43 notebook(26684mc). there was a problem: when the battery level are lower than about 20%, there was a very strange sound(zi zi zi~~~) in the body of the notbook~~i have bought it for only one month so what is the problem?

Hm... If it does it as soon as it drops around 20% that makes me think it is some sort of power saving feature. Maybe a fan is kicking into a lower but for somereason more loud speed. Or it takes till 20% to get hot enough to kick the fan up.
The only moving parts in it are the hard drive and fan and I cant really see a hard drive making crazy sounds like that. Unless it sounds like it is coming from the hard drive...

Hello, I have been fixing IBM laptops for 10+ years now. I fix 3-4 T43s a week. They have a problem with the chipset heating up on battery use. I would suggest replacing the motherboard at your soonest convience.
