im a bit slow with the news, and im planning to upgrade around oct. i know theres the nforce, but does the nforce come w/o the intergrated gfx card as well? cause ive got a gf2 pro and dont want to spend an extra $40 for something im not going to use. theres also the sis735? what else is there?

nforce isn't really going to cost much extra just because it has video/sound/networking built into it. I've heard it will cost around $120-$180 so thats right on par with current motherboards.
Processor wise AMD Palamino should be out by October, and maybe the newer Pentium 4 chips, but the AMD will be much cheaper and also probably give equal or better performance than the P4s. Intel will also have their Tualatin processors in full swing probably in both 256 and 512 cache sizes. Hopefully they'll be a more reasonable price though, right now they cost more than pentium 4s!!!
