tnt2 m64 and alladin5 chipset problem

i am having problem with my asus v3800 tnt2m64 and redfox motherboard with aladdin 5 chipset /AMD 450 Mhz processor.my comp hangs up as soon as i start any OGl/d3d
application. does anyone know of the best driver combination to use with this config.

the combo simply doesnt work.

there is a lot of documentation on the issue on both nVidia site as well as ALi site, and Asus V3800 box has a sticker warning about it and saying not to use the card on a ALi Aladdin board.

there are no drivers that solve the issue, but ALi site does have a AGP driver upgrade that might allow you to use that card. but i would say be on the safer side, get any other card but this one!
