Buying a board and athlon??

ATA100, 4X AGPset, DDR/SDR, AMD Athlon T-bird 1.2GHz (266), 3D Sound, 10/100 NIC, ATX Mid 300W PS.

ECS K7AMA =the cost $225

I dont know mother boards, is this good/ok?? What can I overclock to?

its based on the ALi Magik chipset I guess, that good anyway.

there are many die-hard fans of both Intel and AMD on this forums. and see some threads are hot with flame and criticism and at times it gets worse.

why dont they have some kinda heat sink to keep them cool?
