Intel 440BX Bios Updates- Support Higher RAM???

On my Intel 440bx, I've got three dimm slots that support only 128mb RAM each. I was told that there was a BIOS updates that would allow 256mb (possibly higher)per slot. Is this true and where would I get the update?

It's not a BX issue, it's a motherboard manufacturer issue, go to your manufacturer's site.

BX chipset can support 4 dimm slots and 256MB each. You can check the motherboard manufacture's web site to see if there are any bios update support 256MB RAM.
