I recommend using JB Weld to attach a 486 fan cooler or small Pentium cooler to the northbridge if it's overheating!

I sold a new SiS chipset K6-2 system to a customer last year, and had nothing but problems, mostly performance related. In fact, he kept asking "why was this program faster on my old computer". His old computer was a Gateway Pentium system!

uhm... yeh... the p4 is 100fsb quad pumped... which means that the ram would be uhm pc1600 or if its dual pumped like the rd it would have to be pc3200... unless they want to add even more problems to the sync cycle...

if in doubt blame microsoft...

Or it would have to have a dual memory controller like the I850.
