hp monitor f1703

Last year I bought a LCD display, model F1703. A beautiful piece of
equipment. That is what I thought.
Now, exactly one year and two months later it suddenly went black. Dead.
I read at the backside: "PRODUCT OF FUQING CHINA". You can say that again!
When I contacted Hp in Belgium where I live, those guys told me there was no
way to help me than to pay for a repair of some $250.00.
You know what I will do?
I will throw that HP THRASH away and buy a Dell monitor. It costs less and I
get a THREE YEAR safe period.
