Good day all,

I've seen maximum ram for a KT7A board listed as 1.5 gig. I'm wondering if 1 gig sticks were used, if you could fill this board with 3 gigs of memory?

Thanks all for any help,

Nope, 1.5 gig is the max. I don't think it even supports 1gig sticks, although I could be wrong. Just use 3 512meg sticks.

Why do you need so much, though?

Just want to max it out, shipping it across the country to Canada, so 'stopping by' for a ram upgrade really isnt an option. Unfortunatly, 1 gig dimms arent cheap, or I'd just buy one and see if it boots... maybe the local store will let me test one, heh.

If anyone has tried just shoving in some of these, let me know. Thanks for your help FB.

I'm almost positive it doesn't. I'm trying to look at their online manual, but Acrobat is giving me errors. I'll let you know if I find out.
