Re-installed ashes cricket 2009 working at 1 fps

System Specs
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.53GHz
1.5GB Ram
ATI HD 3650 512MB DDR 2 AGP

I Used To Play Ashes Cricket 2009 @ 40FPS Usually
I Have a habit of changing my WINDOWS XP /WINDOWS 7
Finally I Was Bored OF Playing Ashes Cricket 2009 and uninstalled it properly
then i re-installed the game in the same windows few months later( Windows 7)
then game loaded well
Menu's loaded at 60fps
when i clicked play it got loaded
and showed the ground's preview
I Was just shocked it was running really slow(1FPS)
So I thought a driver problem and re-installed new drivers(Didn't work)
Re-Installed Windows 7(Didn't Work)
Switched To Windows XP(No Improvement)

  3. Every 10 seconds a single frame appears
  4. +1 ulysses35 :)

    Have you had a proper look through the game settings? Sounds like something's not been configured correctly. Do you have any other games you can check for comparison?
  5. Apart from Ashes Cricket 2009, does any other game show the same problem ? :)

  18. I'm already a member of planet cricket and community codemasters
    and I've checked all the threads what can i do?
    Is this could be a registry problem?
  19. I don't think it's a registry problem, since you have a fresh copy of windows.

    So, even people at codemasters were not able to fix your problem ?

  21. But Somebody Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I still hadn't asked you whether you had updated your drivers for that GPU. Have you ?
    If you have the latest and still if the problem persists, then I'd suggest you roll back to your previous drivers. Do you remember the exact drivers for your GPU, when the game had run well ?
  23. But Earlier Whenever I Reinstalled my Windows
    I Just Usually worked with the latest drivers
  24. Don't use the latest drivers then. Use the ones, just before your current one.

    I Just Switched To Windows 8 Developer Preview I'll Check The Game In This Windows
    And Also I Tried My Older Drivers{I Had Them In My Other Partition} { I Checked In Windows 7 }
    Nothing Happened
    And I Want to Tell This
    I Was Using a 800Mhz FSB Supported Motherboard With Intel P4 @ 2.4Ghz
    Then I Bought A 512MB DDR2 VGA
    It Didn't Support My Board
    So I Switched To A Supporting Board
    But I Was Using a 400Mhz FSB Motherboard with 800Mhz Supported 2.4Ghz Processor For 1/2 Year Unknowingly{A Seller Just Cheated Me}
    @ That Time I Didn't Know Much About PC
    Then I Bought 533Mhz 2.53Ghz Processor My Board Does Support 533Mhz}
    I Just Manually Changed My Processor My Self
    So I think This Is A Thermal Grease Problem
    I Didn't Add It So My Processor might Be Over Heating
    So Give Me An Answer
  26. Use HWMonitor to check the temps.
    But you did say that this problem only occurs with that particular game.
  27. Yes I Rechecked The Other Games{I'm Installing Ashes Cricket 2009 Now}
    They Are Working Fine In Windows 8
    I Checked EA Sports Fifa 10
    it Worked Normally
    I'll Check ashes cricket 2009 After Installation
  28. No Nothing Was Successful
    Ashes Cricket 2009 Behaving at the Same Way :sweat:

    I Don't Think I A Problem{my processor can take a max temp up to 72 C}
    Here is HW Monitor Preview

  29. Woah, 72C is too hot. Re-apply thermal paste/compound. Use isopropyl alchohol 70% to remove the current one. Then try again. :)
  30. No Mate I Just Said My Processor Is Capable Of Taking 72 C
    While Gaming It Takes About 64 C
    Here Is The Reference Link http://www.intel.com/support/processors/pentium4/sb/cs-007999.htm
  31. 72C is still a got temp for a processor.
    Since you mentioned 64C, that too sounds a bit hot.
