Anyone know how to do that? I think I got the later revision of the A7M and unfortunately they greyed out the multiplyer option. If anyone knows a way to bypass this please post here.
Yeup, there is. You have to change the bridges on your CPU. Not the easiest way to do it, but the only way when you have the A7M266. I don't have any links, but someone else will, or you should be able to find an article easily.

If you have a 1.2 or higher athlon, it may already be unlocked. The L1 bridges can be penciled in if necessary. The L6 bridges control the multiplier setting. The L7 bridges are used to raise the voltage. The multiplier settings for the L6 bridges are listed in one of Tom's hardware guides early articles on overclocking the socket a cpu.
The CPU is most likely unlock, but the motherboard wouldn't let me change the multiplyer setting, dunno what Asus were thinking.. I was wondering if there is a trick or something to change the multiplyer manually other than through BIOS
