Hey, Im new at this building my own computer stuff. I knew everything but what mother board is what. I get these numbers and dont know the company that makes them. So I cant look them up and see what they have on them..... please help. Any site that has a full listings? or a method you guys all use?

A good web site to try in order to find out what motherboards are made by what manufacturers and a lot of other information is <A HREF="http://www.motherboards.org" target="_new">http://www.motherboards.org</A>.

You can use the Mobo ID Tools and put the motherboard name in the Part # field and it will tell you the manufacturer. Then you can go to manufacturers and it will give you their website and also a listing of all of the different types of motherboards they have. It's a very useful site that can answer many different questions on motherboards.
