Noobs new system , Few ?s before applying power.

Hey all,
This will be my 2nd pc.
I just got all my new components to put my new system together minus the case which comes tommorow.
epox 8k7a, 256 crucial ddr, 1.2 T-bird, Radeon Le & and I plan to over clock it later, golbalwin FOP-32 fan, Enlight case.
My main question is regaring bios settings. Will default settings be good enough to get me going? I know I can "tweak" it once I get it going.I doubt I will have any problems with the hardware (as long as its good) but I am just unsure of the bios. I read a few guides and I dont undetstand it. Nothing seems to be specific to my system needs. I know I may be pushing it to ask for special help on this but keep in mind I'm no computer wizz.
I know many of you have the same motherboard as me. Which settings did you have to change from default and to what?
It would be much appreciated and I will return back to let you all know how It goes. Wish me luck!
