clipbook veiwer - [clipboard]

I am not able to copy anything from the clipboard. It
works fine but the option in the dropdown under the edit
tab for "copy" is not darkened...only the "delete" option
is available. I have tried everything; saving/renaming,
veiwing in different formats, turned on clipbook in
services/ turned it off again, searched google, kellys
korner, and xp discussion forums for similiar problem.
Nothing came close. For the record I can't left click in
clipboard and highlight text or copy or anything either.
I tried reinstalling windows components as well. I know it
can be done I did it with a previous installation of XP.

What is wrong?!?
