Hello there,
I got subj+Athlon 1.4Ghz(class C)+ ~576M PC133+Asus TNT2 32M+Monster Sound MX300+NIC RTL8931(A)
I have newest drivers for everything(if I install the drivers that went originaly - doesn't help), BIOS is newest, and all this stuff, you know.
Everything seems work fine, I mean Win2k pro(Serv pack 2) shows no problems between devices(system uses ACPI, so most ofmy devices use IRQ 9), but system may locks up whenever(and if winamp is playing, it continues to play with gaps and delays), also I can't play games, after I start whatever 3D it just locks up, but when I run something 3D with winamp,I mean plugins, they seem work fine.
So, anything to tell me ?

I have Win98SE, but I have heard something about the irq 9 thing. I'm afraid that I don't understand how your computer can do anything but be screwed up if everything is using one irq. Regardless of the "usually everything on irq 9 with Win2000", that would be my focus if I had your problem. That has to be fixed.

The mx300 is a aureal chipset card is it not? If it is get rid of it huge problems with it in win2k.

Video editing?? Ha, I don't even own a camera!
