I generally have never had a problem with formatting my
PC. I can generally run it in some sort of DOS mode and
type in format c: /fs:ntfs and it works fine..

Now when I try it does nothing. It says something
like "Doing this will delete anything on your harddrive"
which is what I want, then poof... back to the command
prompt with nothing done.

My goal is to reformat my HD and clean install XP. Having
issues trying to do that.

I've tried "repairing" the XP and using the DOS mode it
puts me in.. no go.
Clicked on the C drive and clicked format, no go since XP
is still using the C drive.

I have no MS-Dos mode like I had in Windows 98 nor
another computer to link up to.

If anyone has any ideas on how I can reformat my PC I'd
appreciate it. I'm talking about a total wipe of my drive
till there's nothin on it so I can make a clean
installation of XP.

Please email me your response =)
