I am ready to build my first PC. I plan on purchasing a SiS 735 mobo and a 900mhz Duron CPU. I plan on using my current PC's components as placeholder parts until i can get the other components (PC purchased in '98, my memory is 100mhz SDRAM purchased a month ago). Will my (cheap) SiS 5597/5598 video card work in this board? are there issues between mobos and video cards i need to be aware of? has any one else used this combo or know it should work?

thanks

It should work fine, but if you're still worried, I suggest you go with a motherboard cpu combo with the sis 730 chipset, which includes a built in video card. Select motherboard combo in pricewatch, then sis 730.
