Hello, I recently installed Fallout 3 onto my laptop (which is a big step up from my desktop in terms of performance)

Specs:
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Intel® Core(TM) I3 CPU M380
Integrated Intel® HD Graphics
2.53 ghz
6 GB RAM

I installed the game fine, it loads up, but when I go to start a new game, the dial gets about half way around, sometimes only 1/4 way around before it crashes and gives me a messaged with three option (search for online solutions, cancel, or debug) I've tried all three, neither worked. I've tried running in XP SP3 compatibility, Vista, SP1, SP2, and Window s7, all give me the same result.

What is the problem here and what do you suggest I do?

The problem is that some games do not recognize integrated graphics like the Intel GMA 4500M in your laptop. Fallout 3 is one of those games. Click the following link that should help you get Fallout 3 up and running on your laptop:

It won't be pretty, or perform very well, but at least you should be able to play the game. Here's a link to Youtube with someone playing Fallout 3 with a Core 2 Duo CPU @ 2.26GHz and the Intel GMA 4500MHD:
