How many CPU cores can Flight Simulator X use?

Hi

Just wanted to know if FSX would take advantage of 6 cores or 8 cores or if it will only use up to 4. :) 

Sorry if this was supposed to be in the CPU section instead of PC gaming. It was hard to decide which one to put it in. :)

SP1 made it use more than 1 core but they don't say how many cores it can use.

I don't have the game, but I don't think it will take advantage over 6 or 8 cores. Dual core at max and probably even 4 cores.
You can set the affinity though.

Just as Gman450 said, most likely up to 4 cores. Maybe you should use Microsoft support and see what they have to say, in case they ever answer :)

i wish games had 6 and 8 core support, then my FX-8320 would dominate games, and all but intel's i7's would be forgotten...
