Power on but blank screen...

I have just put together this cheapie 2nd computer.

Biostar MB6VLB Motherboard
Celeron 700 CPU
64mb RAM I have no idea what kind it is and its just one stick.
250watt power supply

The problem I am having is when I turn the computer on I just get a blank screen but the power and CPU fans are running. The keyboard won't light up when I do caps lock but the lights on the key board do blink when I turn the power on. The monitor light just blinks orange.

Any tips on how to troubleshoot this? Did I kill the motherboard?

if there are none then the board is dead!

Hmm I didn't hear any beeps. But I don't have any speakers hooked up to it and I am not sure if there are any on board or something like that.

look for the beeps from the internal speaker you connected to the motherboard panel connectors.

if you have done so and dint hear the beep, consider the board dead! the celeron is very unlikely to be dead but it even could be so.
