ABIT KT7, cant even get into BIOS

After i loaded my "optimized" settings i cant even reach my bios .. i readed some FAQ's and it tells me that i should reset my CMOS and i have done .. after i done that i get this "BEEP - BEEP - BEEP - BEEP - BEEP - BEEP ....." and its go on forever ...

I read that this means memmory problem .. but how can i just have got memory trouble when i havent touch the RAM'S .. ? .. hmm .. anyway is there anyone who can help me on this?

You may have a short somewhere. I would start over. Take the board out and place it on the pink bag it came in, and re-install the memory and check the cpu, etc. Make sure the mounting brass colored supports under the board are all the same height, and use the red washers that go between the board and mounting screws. You missed something the first time around. Also be sure one of your cables isn't installed backwards. I've installed several brands of boards, including 2 Abits, and most boards will post if installed correctly.
