I just switched from a K-6035 to K-7135. I am trying to log in to our remote
server, and I get the error message CHECK CONNECTION PROPERTIES.

Here are the settings on the two phones. The 6035 works fine. Do I need to
change the 7135 defaults? I certainly

6035
SERVICE: Verizon
User: qnc
Phone #777

7135
SERVICE: Express Network 1XRTT
User: [phone number]@vzw3g.com
Phone: #777

Thanks in advance for your help, folks!

I don't see the password in either of those. The password for
the former is qnc; for the latter is vzw. You also explicitly
need to have 1XRTT service ("National Access" ) on your account
for 1XRTT to work.

To Paul L:

Many thanks....That was the key to the problem! I switched to basic speed
and the system is working fine.

Best wishes for the holidays,
