I'm running WinXP Pro on a Dell Inspirion 9100. My computer has been
freezing up many times a day. I recently installed SP2, but this was
occurring prior to this install. I researched and found MS knowledge base
Article 177415 . This slight change to the registry worked for approximately
2 days (which was a long time!).
The source of that article included a reference to repairing IE (downloaded
version, not part of system). Since my version is part of winxp pro, I
didn't pursue this.
I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide, as it is a great
pain!!!
Thanks!!!
