The automatic windows update keeps popping up (1-3 times
a day) notifying me that a new security update is ready
to be downloaded. I've been letting it dowload the update
but this seems excessive. Any ideas on what is going on?

From whence does it pop up? In the broswer or the toolbox? Does it
check the download for an ID certificate?
