Should my PC be able to run GTA IV

Hi i was wondering if my pc should be able to run gta iv heres the specs

Intel Pentium D 915 dual core 2.8GHz
3 GB of memory
Nvidia geforce 9800GTX
maxtor diamondmax 21 160gb hard drive
seagate barracuda 7200 320gb hard drive
corsair cx500 power supply

Odds are your game will be pretty slow on that machine, as GTA IV will make best use of a quad core. Also video card is pretty dated for that game's requirements. Try and read some more posts on this subject, it's been asked and answered a lot.

Also, remember that GTAIV is terribly optimized for PC, so even a computer that *should* logically be able to handle it fine may suffer from erratically bad performance.

That Pentium D is bottlenecking that 9800GTX.
You should get a better CPU.

GTA IV tends to run better with quad core CPUs and a decent GPU like a GTX 460, to run well.
That GPU for playing GTA IV at say 720p with maxed details is okay, but that CPU will be holding you back.
