Greetings TH experts.

I was wondering what the general consensus would be on which laptop has better future gaming potential, meaning which one will be more apt to run games, say, 1 to 1.5 years from now?

Lenovo quadcore w520 with a Quadro 2000m, or an HP 8560w with a quadcore and a FirePro M5950?

All other things like ram and bus and hdd being equal.

Thanks!

So you have direct experience with the HP 8560w then?

Both have Quadro series GPU, which were made for 3D modelling and rendering and not for gaming.
So I'd say, both won't last long at all.
With a Quadro 2000m and a Firepro M5950, I'd say better results, but you're going to have to lower the details. :)

Thanks Gman, I was ust wondering which gfx card would have the longest gaming life, the AMD FirePro m5950 or the Quadro 2000m.

The FirePro has GDDR5 so I figured it would be that one.

Yeah, the M5950 will do better over the Quadro 2000m in performance. But if battery life is an issue, there is the optimus technology for NVIDIA cards...
But if you just want better performance, the Firepro M5950 would be better. :)
