Please Help.

For about a week now I have been getiing a Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime
Library program showing up on the taskbar and a block of the desktop screen
goes missing in the middle. It first started when I logged on to windows, now
however it seems to be appearing more. When I right click on the Visual C++
in the taskbar, I get a box where I can either move or close this
application. After closing it,it disappears and the little piece of the
screen in the middle of the desktop disappears as well.

This is now happening every 10 min or so, is there something seriously wrong
with my system? It is fairly new , only about 4 months old.

I always use windows updates, run an antivirus program and use spybot search
and destroy.

Pleae tell me what this is and how to get rid of it.

Thank you very much,
Karyn
