Delete Web Page History

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.perform_maintain (More info?)

When I double click in the blank space on a search engine,
I get a listing of all the web sites that my computer has
been on. Can I some how delete this history. I already
have configured internet tools to delete history after 1
day?
