1) I have a A7V motherboard with
Primary Ultra ATA IDE Connector
Secondary Ultra ATA IDE Connector
Primary IDE connector
Secondary IDE Connector
My question is which HD will be become my C drive , one on the Primary Ultra ATA IDE Connector or the one on the Primary IDE Connector if both drives are set as masters.

I need a little help.
I have a W/D 40Gb HD ATA100
Quantum 26 Gb HD ATA66
Seagate 4.3 Gb HD
50x CD-Rom
12x CD-RW
On which IDE cable do I put what for a maximum performance.

Sorry If I Am In A Wrong Forum.
Your feedback will be appreciated.

Put the WD ATA100 as master on the #1 channel of the ATA100
Put the Quantum as master on the #2 channel of the ATA100
Put the CD-ROM as slave on the #2 channel of the ATA100 (or slave it off the one of the drives below, not sure it matters - you have alot of options here, except with those first two.)
Throw the Seagate away or save it for experiments
Put the CD-RW as master on the #1 channel ATA66
Put the DVD as master on the ATA66

The WD will be C: in this setup

Primary ATA 100 Master: WD 40G HD
Secondary ATA100 Master: Quantum HD
Secondary ATA100 Slave: Seagate HD
Primary IDE Master: CDRW
Secondary IDE Master: DVD
Secondary IDE Slave: CD-ROM

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
