Free Mechwarrior 4???

So about a year ago there was a free release of Mechwarrior 4 and I downloaded it and it was great. At that time I was playing on my laptop and now want to try it on a real gaming rig. But When I go to the website and follow directions the MTX down loader thing does not show the game anymore. So my question is this: Is Mektek no longer active or have they gone out of business? If so does anybody know of a way to still get the game? I think I know the answer to this next one but would there be a way to transfer the game from my laptop to my desktop?

This is the guide I followed and the problem is that the MTX software does not show any games that are available for download. So im thinking they are out of business or something like that????
