Looking for opinions on ECS K7S5A. Thinking of buying this board with tbird 1.4 /266FSB. Price for board/CPU/Hsink fan $168.00 U.S.

I am having a nightmare with my 1.4ghz amd and ecs k7s5a. I have determined that the motherboard is bad and am send back to ecs for a rma. It might have been the place i boaght it from getting back at me for making them beet my price i found on the net from $120 to $65.

Something about your post on the other thread strikes me as funny, you claim that you tried both the motherboard and cpu on your friends system and both were bad? Your freind actually pulled apart his entire system and installed your motherboard? What kind of system does he have and what type of power supply? If both were indeed bad I think you may have not installed your heatsink properly and fried them both.

Video editing?? Ha, I don't even own a camera!
