Help! I'm using a Matsonic MS8127c mainboard. (VIA Apollo kt 133) and a AMD Athlon 1.4 Ghz CPU. I can't get the processor on the correct clock speed. Default it runs at 1.05 Ghz.
Does anyone know how I can correct this?

Thats because you are running on 100fsb(200) ~10.5 x 100fsb =1050Mhz, dont know the board but there could be a jumper onboard to change to 133fsb(266)~10.5 x 133fsb =1396.5Mhz(1.4Ghz) or in the Bios settings there could be an option for this if at all.
Good luck..

If it truly is a KT133, then you won't be able to switch it to a FSB of 133. If you are lucky, maybe a FSB of 112. If I were you, id get the ECS sis735 board for around $70, so you can run your processor at 1.4Ghz.

Yes, that seems to be the problem. I've tried to set the FSB to 133 but that doesn't seem possible. Thanks guys! I'll just return it to the supplier because they said it would wordt at 1.4 Ghz.
