ABit KG7-Raid USB

I run two KG7-Raid boards, both have USB problems. The Main ports don't recognize devices unless I un-plug them and then plug them in again????

The expansion ports (USB2) work fine every time????

What gives?

Wheeeeeeeeeeee! IT'S FIXED YIPPPPPEEEEEEE

Microsoft has a patch file (NOT the USB Filter.. that is for windows 95 only)

it is located at:

and named 240075up.exe (english version)

it installed with no effort, caused no side effects, and my USB devices are now ALL recongized at start-up EVERY TIME!

[Apparently there is a timing issue with AMD/VIA systems on faster systems.. they say it is solved in Windows ME and this patch solves it for windows 98 SE]
