Settings for 1.4ghz athlon on asus a7m266?

Hi. I'm rather new to AMD CPUs (been running intel for the longest time) and I'm wondering what settings I should be using in BIOS to get my motherboard to properly detect my 1.4ghz cpu. Currently when I boot up it does not seem to 'autodetect' the proper speed. Could anyone point me in the right direction with advice and/or links as to the settings I shoudl be using for this CPU? Thanks! This is a great board.

I just put together a 1.4Ghz T-Bird system too. I used an MSI K7 Master mobo.

CPU Ratio: x10.5
Core Voltage: 1.75
FSB: 133/66 (I think)

Once I made those settings it picked up the speed at 1400Mhz.

In you A7M266 manual pg. 19, make sure "JEN" (jumper-free mode) is jumpered [2-3], then on pg 22, "DSCKF" is set to OFF ("In JumperFree mode, all dip switches DSW-1 -DSW-4 must be set to OFF"). Then use your BIOS "CPU Clock Multiplier" [10.0x] and "System Frequency" [144]

Rayman may be right [10.5x], I have a 1.33GHz so I use [10.0x]
