help! dad lost password

Ok, so I told my dad to write his password for windows 2000 on his office computer down so i could access it from the network. He changed it to somthing "i would be able to remember" and then forgot what he changed it to

does anyone know of a password sniffer or a utility to reset the win2k administrator password?

You can boot to Windows using the windows xp cd in recovery mode, which lets you act as administrator without knowing any passwords. At that point you can reset the password.
