Bad Bios Flash

8k7a is now boot locked. start up system goes to a A drive and askes for award
flash. When i put Bios and flasher on floppy i get A bios error. (program files Bios lock
string does not match your system.)
Need some special Bios to correct this.

Do you have a "Clear BIOS" jumper on your M/B? Go back to your M/B manuf. web site and make sure you have the correct "Aflash.exe" & BIOS Files. Also, make sure that the BIOS Files are unzipped on the floppy. As a last resort, you may have to power down, and remove the Lithium Battery on your M/B for a couple hours, then replace it and retry the Flash process all over again.
