I heard that if your RAM can't handle setting of 2-2-2 then it should ahndle setting or 3-2-2 or 2-2-3, like mine does.
3-2-2 is defined as CAS3 TURBO (CL3 turbo) and 2-2-3 is defined as CAS2 FAST (CL2 FAST) (therefore 2-2-2 is CAS2 TURBO, but my RAM can't do that!). So which one is faster?
Also I have 128mb of Kingmax CAS2 memory
another 128Mb of CAS2 CompUSA memory(both work at 2-2-2)
and another 256mb of Generic CAS2.5 memory (goes iether 3-2-2 or 2-2-3)
I play games, mostly like Tribes2, AoF, Max Payne and others... I run WinME,
So I can either have 256Mb of CAS2@2-2-2 or 512 of CAS2.5!2-2-3 or 3-2-2. Which option is better? (all RAMs that are listed here are pc133)
Thank, You.
