how do i make a url shortcut

Hi all I would like to burn a cd and have a couple of shortcuts in the root dir of the cd to programs on the cd that are a few subdirectories down ,how would I make a shortcut (URL? iv been told is the best way) without knowing what the drive letter of the cd-rom drive will be EG i want to run the program
/Scotts Stuff/Utills/ICQ2000b.exe from the root dir of the cd ect thanks for your help

Try making a random shortcut in the desktop and edit the shortcut and then burn it on a CD? I guess that works, but looks quite tedious if you are looking for like 10-20 shortcuts.

i would suggest making the cd auto play and open a browser window, from there you could link to all the files you wanted
