The beta just closes out of nowhere and I receive no errors, any suggestions to why this happens.

Did you try disabling physx?
The game might be having issues with your OS as well.
Can you try it out on Windows 7?

I have the same problem. It's like it goes into an irreversible minimized state. The sounds playing at the time of the pseudo-crash will finish, but no new sounds will start after that. I can't close the window - I have to kill the process via task manager.

i7 2600K / Zotac GTX 550 Ti / 8 GB RAM / Windows 7 x64.
I also have the 285.38 drivers.

Did you have the crashing problem even with your old drivers?

Remember folks, this is a beta. It's bound to have issues. I'm sure it will be fixed in the final version.

Yes, I had the crashing problem with the old drivers.

I read somewhere that lowering the Memory Clock will prevent crashes, so I've been using NVIDIA Inspector to lower mine from the default 2200 MHz down to 2000 MHz.

That was last night, though, and I forgot if it still crashed.

Hi I've played over 8,5hr without a single crash.

It seems to favor AMD/ATI cards, mi Nvidia colleagues are suffering crashes also it might be linked to the web browser you are using... Crome seems to suffer less issues than firefox but it is just based on 6 PCs experience.

Also most Nvidia issues where solved updating motherboard bios and reinstalling windows from scratch...

Good luck and hopefully the real game in three weeks is better than the beta...
