When I updated to the latest PRL for AC, my phone acted wired and decided to
change the Verizon banner. I called CS and made me re-program my phone.
After resetting the phone everything came back alright. CS said sometimes
phones don't get updated properly and minor changes are seen after the
update.

Did you download any custom ring tones about the same time you performed
*228?

Negative .. I didn't download anything. After I ran the *228 option 1, the
phone everything went back to normal.

The difference between an "i" and an "a" is a single bit. Either there
was a problem with the download (a single-bit error should have been
detected) or there's a memory problem with your phone.

If it doesn't happen again, don't worry about it.
