Old shooting game where you have to step on a pedal to unhide

Hey;

I am searching for a game I played in a gaming hall in the 90ies where I had to step on a pedal to unhide and then shoot attackers. The first version of this game was played alone but later there were following versions where 2 players could work together. I am searching for the first version of this game (for PC). The attackers in each level hid at the exact same places which makes it easier to advance to further levels after playing the first levels for many times..... The pedal was used to load ones weapon and hide from the attackers.

time crysis or something along those lines, they still have those style games here in australia in move theaters.

I Totally remember that game. I was quite a good shoter at the age of 10? Good game, does it exist at Playstation or PC? Wii maybe? Good times. Bring that game back if its not already in sirculation ;-P

I probably spent more on Time Crisis 2 in the arcade then the arcade machine cost.

that always reminds me of waiting for a movie to start and having a couple quarters on me to play house of the dead
