Hey guys, I was wondering what part of my computer should I upgrade when BattleField 3 comes out My current specs are PhenomII 1035T X6, GTX 560ti, 8Gb ram and a 600Watt PSU. I thinking about either getting one of those new 8 core bulldozer processors which AMD will release soon or a GTX 580. Which will benefit me more for BattleField 3? I want to play smoothly on Ultra settings.

you wont need to upgrade if youre at 1080p . it can run crysis 2 at 60+ fps so it should do at the least 35 fps on bf3. its not out so you cant really tell. if you really want to get high fps then get another 560ti and sli

How much would that cost? And is my current psu ok for that?

isnt micro stuttering only on low end cards.
ive also heard that there isnt that much micro stuttering on the 6000 series
according to this you will only need 541w psu for the gtx580
i guess i was wrong ...im suprised no one told me
it also recommends 522w for 6850 cf with a bulldozer water cooled so im not sure if it works.

theres not a lot you can do... you have a good midrange system. if you upgrade you will be paying a disproportionate amount to the performance upgrade your gonna get... if you cant sli yet then that should be your next objective. get a sli motherboard, preferably something that can handle upgraded cpu's then get another 560 after that you can get bulldozer core...
