Dual Xeon Processors

I have the Thunder X (S1952DLU) with a PII 450 Xeon Processor 2mb cache

If I was to add a 2nd processor, do they need to have the same amount of cache, can I mix and match the cache, say put a PII 450 Xeon w/ 512k

Cache + clock speed should be the same. Considering the huge difference in cache between your 2 Xeons, I'd say you're asking for trouble. Besides, PII Xeons with 2 MB cache can be bought for about $US75.
