My OS is Windows XP SP2. However, this problem began
before SP2. When I move the mouse and put the cursor
outside of a window, the window disappears. I usually get
it back with Alt+Tab. Sometimes it even happens in a
maximized window; apparently just the movement of the
cursor is enough, without going outside the window.

Any suggestions on how to cure this would be appreciated.
