Jetway mobo problem with P3-1Ghz

I have tried to install a p3 1ghz 256kb cache, into a jetway 933an motherboard. The system crashed after 5 mins and when rebooting came up with registry checker which said it had restored a good regestry. Upon reboot it came up witrh registry checker again. I have the latest bios update. The system is fine with old p2 300mhz. Is this mobo compatable with 256kb cache version of the p3?

It sounds like an overheating issue. Dyou you have any idea what your tempp is when it crashes/restarts.

When I go into a computer store I lose all means of reason for some reason.
